findababylist, Inc. (“findababylist”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Findababylist operates an online shop and registry for new and expecting parents, as well as a website that provides information for expecting families. This Policy covers information collected when you access our websites, mobile applications, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”). It does not apply to health information governed by a separate HIPAA notice.

  • Registry Account: To create an account, you provide first and last name, email address, and password. Optional information includes partner details, due date, baby gender, pregnancy type, number of children, physical address, phone number, photos, personal messages, and health/lifestyle information.
  • Wishlist: For a wishlist recipient, you provide first name and date of birth (required), plus optional clothing/shoe size, favorite color, preferences (“loves”, “needs”, “please no”).
  • Giving Gifts: When you give a gift, we collect first and last name and email address. Optionally, a mailing address for thank-you notes.
  • Shop Purchases: For online purchases, we collect phone number, shipping and billing information. Payment information is processed by a third party; we do not store it.
  • Surveys: Voluntary participation may collect contact information, age, gender, survey answers, and comments.
  • Health Services: Additional information such as insurance plan numbers, birth date, gender, physician contact, and due date may be collected for health-related services.
  • Expectful Services: We may collect journey stage (e.g., preparing to conceive, trimester, postpartum, motherhood).
  • Public Sharing: Registry users may post pictures or comments that can be public depending on settings.
  • Search Engine Indexing: If you make your registry indexable by search engines, it becomes publicly visible. Removal from search results is not immediate and not within our control.
  • Customer Support: We may collect contact information, identity verification, issue summary, screenshots, and other helpful information.

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Services, we automatically collect:

  • Browser and usage information (operating system, IP address, access times, browser type, language, referring website, usage patterns, chatbox interactions).
  • Device information (IP address, device type, operating system, manufacturer, model, unique identifiers, push notification tokens, approximate location from IP address).

C. Information from Third Parties

We receive information from other users (e.g., partner adding you), third-party service providers (order fulfillment, payment processing, contact validation, marketing, cloud infrastructure), and partners (marketing, analytics, advertising).

DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION

We store information as long as necessary to provide Services and fulfill legal obligations. Inactive registries may be set to private, hiding them from search engines.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, APPLICATIONS, WEBSITES

Third-party services have separate privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices. Review their user terms and privacy statements before use.

SOCIAL MEDIA FEATURES AND WIDGETS

We use features like Facebook Like button and Share widgets. These may collect your IP address and set cookies. Interactions are governed by the social network’s privacy notice. You may also log in via Apple or Google, sharing email address and name with those third parties.

CALLS TO JOB CANDIDATES THROUGH ZOOM PHONE

For job-related calls via Zoom Phone, no mobile information is shared for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data is not shared.

UPDATES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

We update this Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified through our Services or other means. Review this Policy each time you use our Services.
